Filming in the Ute Conference:
For the safety,
liability and insurance issues that surround filming
games and practices the following policy was put in
place by the Executive Board of the Ute Conference, Inc.
on 8/31/2015. The Executive Board voted unanimously as
policy for the 2015 season:
No Telescoping
Booms, ladders, scaffolding or other stationary device
with attached cameras over 6 feet in height from the
ground; and/or Drones or any other type of flying
machine with attached cameras for filming games and/or
practices are allowed on Ute Conference fields.
No Cameras, Go Pros or any other photographic or filming devices
are allowed inside the ropes from Endline of Endzone to Endline
of Endzone. This includes the Coaches Box and field of play.
Photographic or Filming Devices cannot be strapped to any Coach,
Yard Markers that are inside the ropes. Coaches must be wearing Badges
and on team roster in order to
participate during the game while inside the ropes.
The penalty for
violating this policy is the same as an ejection for the
head coach of the offending team. 1 week suspension. The
coach will be put on the ejection list and any
subsequent ejections will be 2 weeks and so on. If you
visit a field and a parent, family or coach has violated
this policy please email pictures of the violation to
the Ute Conference offices for Executive Board review.
Include the date, field, time and teams playing in the
email. |
